Chocolate peanut butter overnight oats

Eating for heart health doesn’t have to be hard or boring. This make-ahead cold cereal uses heart-healthy ingredients to help reduce LDL (bad) cholesterol that can build up in your arteries.

Almond milk and chocolate peanut butter powder come together to create a rich, nutty base. Try these oats with banana slices, berries or whatever fresh fruit you have on hand.

Serves: 1
Ingredients:

1 medium banana, halved

1/3 cup uncooked old-fashioned rolled oats

1/2 cup unsweetened chocolate almond milk

2 tbsp. chocolate peanut butter powder

Pinch of salt

 

Directions:
Step 1:

Mash half a banana in a medium jar or large glass.

Step 2:

Chop other banana half and add to jar with remaining ingredients.

Step 3:

Stir, cover and refrigerate overnight.
