Annual checkups
Preventive care is 100% covered when you see in-network providers. During your annual visit, your provider checks things like your heart health and blood pressure and gets an overall picture of your health. They may recommend screenings or vaccines that are right for you based on age and gender. Your Costco medical plan covers mammograms and colonoscopies at any age when they’re recommended by your provider.

Dental exams and cleanings
You get 2 free dental exams and cleanings each year with an in-network dentist. Plus, you earn a $50 credit toward your medical deductible or coinsurance for your first in-network cleaning each year.

Eye exams
Get up to $80 for your annual eye exam and $200 toward glasses or contacts covered. Schedule with your Costco Optical Department now to beat the end-of-year rush.

Hearing exams
If you’re unsure about your hearing, schedule a free hearing exam at a Costco Hearing Aid Center. If you need medically necessary hearing aids, your plan pays up to $1,750 every 4 years.

Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) through Inspira Financial
FSA funds are use-it-or-lose-it. Be sure to submit all claims for 2026 services by April 30, 2027.

• Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA) for eligible copays, deductibles, or coinsurance for medical, dental, vision, and hearing aid expenses. You can only carry over $680 of your HCRA balance to use in 2027. Any balance over $680 must be used for eligible expenses from 2026.
• Dependent Care Assistance Plan (DCAP) for eligible child and elder care expenses, such as daycare, before- and after-school care, and in-home aides. You can’t carry over an unused balance, but you can use your 2026 account on eligible expenses through March 15, 2027.
