Costco benefits can help you save
Earn up to $400 with the Aetna Maternity Program. Enroll early and stay active in the program during and after your pregnancy to earn up to $400 toward your deductible and coinsurance. You’ll also get support from specially trained nurses, plus resources for dads and partners. Learn more about the incentives in your Benefits Guide. Pregnant employees, spouses and domestic partners can sign up by calling 855-282-6344 (TTY: 711). Available to mainland only.
Get up to $5,000 for adoption expenses. Costco offers adoption assistance to reimburse you up to $5,000 per child for up to 2 adoptions. This can help cover fees, court costs, attorney fees, transportation and more.
Save on fertility treatment. If you need support with infertility, your Costco medical plan includes infertility benefits. Mainland employees can connect with an Aetna Fertility Advocate at 833-415-1709 to learn about the benefits available and for guidance through the precertification process.
Plan for maternity and/or bonding leave so you have time to rest, recover and bond with your baby or adopted child. Unum and LeaveLogic can help you understand the leave benefits available to you. LeaveLogic isn’t available yet in Puerto Rico.
Lower your tax bill with DCAP. The Dependent Care Assistance Plan (DCAP) through Inspira Financial lets you set aside pretax dollars for eligible childcare or elder care expenses — up to $7,500 per year (or $3,750 if married and filing separately). You can enroll during Annual Enrollment or during the year as your childcare needs change. Available to mainland and Hawaii.
Get help finding childcare. Resources for Living (RFL) Worklife services can research childcare options for you — from in-home care to summer camps and more. They can also connect you with free or low-cost resources for rent, food, transportation and other daily life needs. This no-cost program is available to all Costco employees, household members and dependent children up to age 26. Call 833-721-2320 (TTY: 711) or visit RFL.com/Costco to get started. You can also learn more in your Benefits Guide.
Save on childcare with LifeMart. LifeMart offers employee discounts on childcare. Search “day care” on Costcobenefits.com. Available to mainland and Hawaii.
You have 60 days to add your new child to your health plan
Your newborn or newly adopted child isn’t automatically enrolled in your benefits. You have 60 days from birth or adoption to enroll them. Even if you don’t have a birth certificate or Social Security number yet, you still need to start the process. Get started at Costcobenefits.com or call the Enrollment Center at 800-541-6205.
