In November, our We’re in This Together content shares information on how to complete Annual Enrollment. What new benefits enhancements are coming in 2024. How reimbursement accounts work. And how a simple grounding technique can support mental health. All articles highlight Costco benefits.

New Annual Enrollment videos

To help make the Annual Enrollment process even easier for your employees, we’ve created three short educational videos. Encourage your employees to watch these new videos from the links below, or on their break room TV’s.

Resources to help you help your employees

Check out the Costco benefits, tools and services that are featured on the well-being portal this month. And make sure your employees know how their Costco benefits can support them and their covered dependents. An easy way to do this is by presenting this month’s We’re in This Together program slides during your next staff meeting.  

  • Talk up Annual Enrollment with your employees whenever you get the opportunity. Be prepared to answer questions about their coverage, and know where to go to learn more. Visit the 2024 Annual Enrollment and Dependent Verification page for more information.
  • Make sure your employees know that the deadline for completing their enrollment is November 21.
  • Remind employees that they must complete their Dependent Verification by November 21 to continue coverage for their enrolled family members in 2024.
  • Encourage your employees to visit Costcobenefits.com. They can complete the necessary steps for Annual Enrollment, get to know and use their Costco benefits, and get the support they need for their emotional, financial and physical well-being.

  • Costcobenefits.com
    • Employees can access the Enrollment Website using their Costco ESS log in from the Costcobenefits.com home page. They must make any changes to their benefits elections during the enrollment period, November 1–21.
    • To learn more about their benefits and the Annual Enrollment process, employees can visit Costcobenefits.com.
  • Resources For Living® (RFL®)
    • Available to employees, members of their household and dependent children up to age 26.
    • Also includes six no-cost counseling sessions with in-person, televideo and chat options.
    • Provides employees with resources and tools to support their mental health, including mindfulness techniques to reduce anxiety and find balance.
    • To learn more about RFL, employees can call 833-721-2320 (TTY: 711) or visit Costcobenefits.com.
  • PayFlex® (Available in Mainland and Hawaii)
    • Administers Costco’s Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA) and Dependent Care Assistance Plan (DCAP), both of which help employees reduce their taxes and save money on eligible expenses.
    • Important note: If employees want to participate in the HCRA or DCAP in 2024, they must enroll during Annual Enrollment, even if they are currently enrolled.
    • To learn more, employees can call PayFlex at 844-729-3539 (TTY: 711) or visit PayFlex.com.
  • AbleTo (Available in Mainland and Hawaii)
    • Provides a personalized, eight-week program via phone or video to help employees struggling with anxiety, depression, stress and other mental health issues.
    • Employees enrolled in a Costco medical plan and their covered family members age 13 or older can participate.
    • To learn more, employees can call 833-881-1444 or visit AbleTo.com/Costco.
  • WeightWatchers
    • Costco employees can join for as low as $14 per month, and spouses/domestic partners and dependents can join for as low as $19.50 per month.
    • They can sign up at WW.com/Costco.
  • Benefits Quick Reference Guide
    • A convenient guide you can print and share with employees when you need information about Costco benefits in a hurry. As a reminder, please choose the one that applies to your location for resources available to your employees.
